The 79-80 McCutcheon Boys’ Swim team was the best in Mavs history to that point with a 13-5 record. They placed 3rd in the Hoosier Conference and 5th at Sectionals.

Jim Russell was McCutcheon’s first ever sectional champion in the 200 freestyle.
